Where we RANT about what goes exceptionally good and wildly bad when you turn your company digital
Imagine a world where entrepreneurship is a desirable and achievable path for everyone. The thought of starting a thriving business, amassing wealth, and living a life of luxury on a private island is undoubtedly enticing. However, let’s face it - entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. It requires massive responsibility, from creating income to providing for others. And that’s perfectly fine! There are many avenues to success and happiness, and entrepreneurship is just one of them.
Launching a business is indeed a challenging journey, and entrepreneurs should prepare themselves for the ups and downs that come with it. It’s important to remain optimistic and focused on the potential for success while being realistic about the challenges ahead. And while “the exit” may be a goal for some entrepreneurs, it shouldn’t be the sole focus when starting. Instead, prioritize creating a company that adds value to people’s lives and makes them happy. By doing so, you’ll start gaining traction and recognition if you can take a more significant market share from your competitors or disrupt the industry even better!

We are proud to share with you that one of our digital products, Confidas, has been acquired by Termene.ro, our biggest competitor in the business intelligence market. Confidas is a platform that we built and co-owned with our trusted partners since late 2016. It was an incredible journey! From our CTO Andrei rewriting the entire platform code from scratch in one month to becoming part of Termene’s family. We invested more than 3500 hours of work in designing, developing, and marketing Confidas. Now we are excited to join forces with Termene’s team as their technical partner and create more value for our clients. You can find out more details here.

No, I didn’t paste the wrong link (if you were wondering). In this week's newsletter, we are reflecting on how far we've come. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of the future, but it's essential to acknowledge the past and how it has shaped the present. So let's take a trip down memory lane and appreciate our progress to get to where we are today.
The International Monetary Fund's World Economic Outlook has projected South Africa will have the highest unemployment rate globally in 2023 at 35.6%, followed by Sudan (30.6%) and West Bank and Gaza (25%). The report shows the pandemic has made entrenched labour trends worse and altered job market conditions. Despite high inflation and hawkish monetary policy, unemployment rates in six of the G7 countries are near the lowest in a century. However, today's strong labour market contributes to high inflation numbers and poses a key challenge for central bankers globally.
Midjourney is not like Stable Diffusion. If you want consistent outputs based on one model or yourself, you are probably better of for now using a custom model for Stable Diffusion.
